Afghanistan’s President Hamid Karzai strongly condemned the deadly bombings in London, as the ousted Taliban said Britons were suffering for their government’s hostility to the Muslim world. “This is an attack not against a city, this is an attack not against a nation, this was an attack against all of mankind,” the US-backed leader told reporters in Kabul on Friday. Karzai said the war-weary nation understood what Britain was going through, because it was still suffering from a deadly insurgency by hardline Taliban militants which has left more than 500 people dead this year.
