Most Americans — 64 percent — believe terrorist attacks on US soil are unlikely any time soon, as compared to October 2001, one month after September 11, when 85 percent thought more attacks were imminent, an opinion poll said. Only 35 percent of the 1,006 adults questioned Thursday-Sunday said another attack was likely soon, down from 39 percent on January, according to the USA Today/CNN/Gallup survey.
