HK aid worker survives shooting in Indonesia’s Aceh
A Hong Kong aid worker is lucky to be alive after being shot in the neck in Indonesia’s Aceh, an official said on Thursday, in an incident that has heightened security concerns over tsunami relief work. Indonesia’s security forces and separatist rebels blamed each other for the shooting of Eva Yeung, 28, a relief delegate for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, who was traveling by car along Aceh’s west coast on Wednesday night.
