One hundred firefighters will graduate today from a program that is part of the state’s terror response plan. In January, the Tucson Fire Department received $2 million to cover training in hazardous materials and technical rescue. The money also covers the cost of two Rapid Response Team trucks. Tucson Fire Department Capt. Paul McDonough said the two Tucson units will be among 11 units across the state that can respond to major incidents either locally or statewide. Full Story
