A federal grand jury on Thursday indicted a U.S. man for offering to sell a bomb to an undercover agent posing as an al Qaeda operative, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office.Ronald Grecula, 68, was charged with attempting to provide material support and resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization, al Qaeda, prosecutors said. If convicted, he could face up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. An informant told authorities Grecula was seeking to make and sell a bomb to be used against the United States. Grecula was arrested last month after he traveled to Houston from Bangor, Pennsylvania, to meet with undercover agents who set up a sting operation, prosecutors said.Full Story
