Fersehteh Street, which runs though a leafy neighborhood in northern Tehran, was crowded on Wednesday with young people plastering their cars with stickers promoting Ali Akhbar Hashemi Rafsanjani for president of Iran. Mr. Rafsanjani, a former two-term president and a leading figure in the 1979 revolution, was receiving rock-star treatment from teenagers in low-cut blue jeans and sweeping sunglasses. “My father likes him; I like him,” said Amir Pasha Fallai, 19, as he loaded up his sports car with stickers for Mr. Rafsanjani in the final hours of the campaign.
