President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva addressed the worst political crisis of his tenure Monday, saying that an investigation into allegations of corruption within his party “will leave no stone unturned.” But Silva, speaking on his biweekly radio program a week after his party was accused of paying bribes for votes in Congress, also raised questions about the congressman making the accusations. “We’re going to take advantage of this moment to do the things that need to be done in Brazil because we need to show Brazilian society that it’s possible to end corruption in Brazil,” Silva said.Full Story
