A Virgin Airlines flight en route from Heathrow Airport in London to New York’s JFK airport has been diverted to Canada. Virgin Flight 45 was over the Atlantic Ocean when there was an alert from the cockpit signalling a hijacking. It turned out to be a false alarm caused by a mechanical problem. Full Story
