A freight train collided with a passenger bus Thursday in southern Ukraine, killing at least 13 people, emergency officials said. The crash occurred at a railroad crossing that did not have crossing gates, near the village of Novoselovka in the Odessa region. Emergency Situations Ministry spokesman Oleh Oleksandrov said two of the dead were children and preliminary reports suggested that at least seven people were hospitalized with injuries.
