Iraq PM vows extra security, FM wants Syria to ‘stem flow of terrorists’

Prime Minister Ibrahim Jaafari vowed to beef up security in Iraq, while Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari called on Syria to help “put an end to the flow” of terrorists he says are entering his country from Syria.And four US troops, four Italians and one Iraqi soldier were killed in air crashes. In a statement read out to the United Nations Security Council, Zebari said that Baghdad had “repeatedly urged each of our neighbouring countries to abide by their obligations” under a resolution to stop terrorists entering and leaving Iraq, as well as stemming cash and arms flow.Full Story
