The group of Al-Qaeda’s frontman in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, said it had carried out double suicide attacks which killed at least 27 people south of Baghdad. In two separate Internet statements, the group said two of its members launched the attacks against Iraqi police ex-commandos and new applicants.
