The family of slain Belfast man Robert McCartney should receive European Union aid for victims of terrorism to start a civil case that could bring his killers to justice, the European Parliament said on Tuesday. McCartney, a 33-year-old Roman Catholic and father of two, was stabbed to death in January outside a Belfast pub by a gang that included Irish Republican Army (IRA) members.
