Japan, China Leaders May Meet to Salvage Ties

Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and Chinese President Hu Jintao are likely to meet in Jakarta this week, Japan said on Thursday, as the two sides seek to halt a downward spiral in relations.
