Deadlock Over New Lebanese Cabinet Threatens Polls

Lebanese prime minister-designate Omar Karameh’s consultations on forming a new cabinet have been halted, threatening to delay crucial polls demanded by the opposition and the international community. “There are no consultations and everything is suspended,” a government source told AFP Tuesday, adding that Karameh had left Beirut for his home city of Tripoli in northern Lebanon.Full Story
