Report: Russian ex-spy chief shot
Unknown assailants gunned down a former top Russian intelligence official in Moscow on Sunday, Russian news agencies reported. Col. Gen. Anatoly Trofimov, former deputy chief of the Federal Security Service under President Boris Yeltsin, was shot in his sports utility vehicle at around 7:30 p.m. (1530 GMT) on a street in the northern part of the Russian capital, the Interfax news agency reported.
