Two fighter planes have intercepted a suspect plane over Rome on the day of the Pope’s funeral, according to Italian reports.The Italian news agency ANSA reported that the plane was being escorted by two F-16 fighters to a military base after entering a no-fly zone imposed for the funeral.It quoted Italy’s air force chief as saying intelligence had indicated that a bomb was on board the aircraft which was heading toward Rome’s second airport Ciampino.
