Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has said he will pull some troops out of the country’s south, amid continuing separatist violence. Mr Thaksin did not specify how many would be withdrawn, but said heavily armed soldiers had proved unsuitable for fighting the insurgency. Full Story
