Malaysian security officials arrested five suspected Thai Muslim militants last week as part of Kuala Lumpur’s crackdown on cross-border activities, Time magazine reported yesterday. Time said the armed suspects were arrested last Wednesday at Kuala Lumpur’s Sentral Station. The magazine speculated that the sensitivity of the arrests might have led Malaysian police spokesmen to deny they had taken place. In its report, Time said it had confirmed the incident with two Malaysian intelligence officials familiar with the case. Full Story
