Rebel greande attacks kill three in northeast India
Separatist rebels threw three grenades in the troubled state of Assam on Friday, killing three people and sowing fresh panic in a region already on the edge after two days of militant attacks. At least 12 people, including six policemen, were wounded in the latest attacks in the tea-rich state, one of the country’s seven northeastern provinces that have been torn by separatist insurgencies for decades.
