Congo’s defense minister vowed on Tuesday to hunt down the militiamen who killed nine U.N. Bangladeshi troops in the worst single loss suffered by the world body’s peace mission since it deployed in 1999. Visiting refugees at northeastern Kakwa village near the scene of the killings, the minister, Adolphe Onusumba, said ethnic militias fighting each other in the region had to learn to pursue their goals peacefully and give up a “senseless war.” Full Story
