At Least 50 Rebels Killed in Deadly Nepal Clash
At least 50 Maoist rebels have been killed in a gunbattle with Nepali soldiers, the army said Tuesday, in the deadliest fighting since King Gyanendra seized power last month in the world’s only Hindu kingdom. Four soldiers were also killed in Monday’s clash in the western rebel stronghold of Bardiya district, near the border with India, an army spokesman said. Full Story
