Detectives investigating a suspected Irish Republican Army money-laundering network have seized more cash in raids across Ireland, bringing the four-day total to $5.7 million, police said Monday. The latest finds came amid growing police optimism they will link much of the seized British currency to the Dec. 20 robbery of Northern Bank in Belfast, when a suspected IRA gang stole $50 million — the world’s biggest cash theft.
