A filmmaker presented what he described as the first feature film about Palestinian suicide bombers, a movie that explores their motivations but stops short of making judgments. Hany Abu-Assad’s “Paradise Now,” shown Monday at the Berlin Film Festival, was filmed largely in the West Bank town of Nablus and stars local actors.
