THE World Health Organization has sent eight experts to the Philippines to help assess the country’s readiness to handle health risks posed by a biological, chemical or radiation attack, officials said Monday. WHO said the assessment, to be carried out by a team of 20 Philippine and international experts, will visit more than 50 institutions in Manila and the southern city of Davao from Monday until February 21.
