A Yemeni sheik accused of funding terrorism said Osama bin Laden was initally a faithful pupil but later called for his assassination, an FBI investigator testified. Sheik Mohammed Ali Hasan al-Moayad told the FBI that bin Laden issued a religious edict demanding his execution after the two men argued about Islamic democracy, Special Agent Brian Murphy said Monday. Al-Moayad is accused of supporting and conspiring to support al-Qaida and the Palestinian militant group Hamas, and faces 60 years in prison if convicted of all charges.Full Story
