Iran will retaliate if the United States or Israel attacks its nuclear facilities and will accelerate its drive to master the technology, reports said today. Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator, speaking in a rare interview with Reuters news agency, said there was nothing the US or European nations could do to force it to give up its programme. Iran is building nuclear reactors as part of a civilian energy programme, but the US – along with France, Britain and Germany – want a permanent end to uranium enrichment procedures that could be used in the manufacture of a nuclear weapon.Full Story
