The Kremlin demanded yesterday that Britain stop the broadcast of an interview with a Chechen rebel who masterminded the deadly Beslan school siege and says he is planning more attacks on Russian targets. But last night, Britain’s Channel 4 News went ahead and broadcast an interview with Shamil Basayev, the Chechen warlord who ordered many attacks on civilians, including the Beslan hostage-taking, in which more than 330 people died.Full Story
