The Holland America Zaandam was preparing to head to Jacksonville Wednesday to become a floating hotel at the Super Bowl, but security concerns delayed the ship’s sailing. Investigators with the Coast Guard said some of the security measures on board were not done to their satisfaction, so they searched the entire ship. They discovered a weapon on board that had made it through security. The Super Bowl demands a certain number of hotel rooms, and Jacksonville came up a few thousand short, so the city got creative out on the water. Full Story
