Washington will send FBI investigators to Bangladesh to probe the January 27 Habiganj grenade attack incident only if they are allowed to work freely under a clear terms of reference and given full access to all kinds of information and evidence as well as witnesses. US Ambassador to Bangladesh Harry K Thomas, Jr told this when he called on Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Barrister Moudud Ahmed at his Secretariat office in the city yesterday morning. Quoting the US Ambassador, meeting sources said the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) investigators will only come to Dhaka if the Bangladesh government accepts the conditions mentioned by US Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia Christina Rocca during her talks with Foreign Minister M Morshed Khan on Sunday.
