Two unidentified people held a U.S. citizen hostage in Moscow for five days. The 45-year-old, who has not been named, was taken to a Moscow hospital with a fractured pelvis after jumping from a window to make his escape, Interfax reported. A source in the city’s interior directorate was quoted by the agency as saying the U.S. national had been held in an apartment in the city. The news only appeared on Sunday after the man had escaped.
