The European Union on Sunday urged Bangladesh to get tough on terrorism, saying it was “shocked and dismayed” by a recent grenade attack on a rally of the main opposition party, killing a former minister along with four others. Seven EU envoys met Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Morshed Khan and told him they looked for Dhaka’s “clear signal of its commitment, that acts of political terrorism are not acceptable,” a media report said here.
