Who’s in charge of hunt for bin Laden?
One of my bosses asked me a stumper this week. Who, she wanted to know, was the one person in the U.S. government in charge of going after Osama bin Laden and other terrorists?
Good question. And as I discovered, there’s no easy answer. The short answer is no one — at least not until someone is appointed to the newly created post of national intelligence director and confirmed by the Senate.
