Demonstrators roughed up José Bono, Spain’s Socialist defence minister, during a public gathering on Saturday in honour of terror victims. The attack was the latest sign of growing social and political tensions since the train bombings in Madrid last March. Mr Bono and his son were whisked away by bodyguards after the crowd turned nasty. Rosa Diez, a Socialist deputy in the European parliament, left the meeting in tears. Full Story
