Important Sui installations had been the main focus of sabotage activities during last two years as miscreants fired thousands of rockets and small arms in Sui area resulting in gas disruption on several occasions and endangering lives of innocent people. Unprovoked firing at the valuable installations by the miscreants not only cost millions of rupees to the government, in terms of repair and smooth gas supply but also caused loss of billions to the economy and the industrialists. Sources said that in 2003, as many as 239 rockets were fired across the Balochistan province with miscreants firing 133 rockets solely in the Sui area. In 2004, in total 626 rockets were fired in Balochistan in various incidents, with a major chunk, 378 rockets, fired in the Sui area, sources added. Full Story
