Two suspected al-Qaida members were arrested by German authorities Sunday, federal prosecutors said. Police arrested the pair on Sunday in Mainz and Bonn for allegedly breaking German laws forbidding membership in a foreign terrorist organization, federal prosecutor Kay Nehm said. A 29-year-old Mainz resident from Iraq is suspected of planning suicide attacks in Germany. A 31-year-old Palestinian who was believed to have been planning the theft of uranium in Luxembourg was also arrested. Full Story
