A diplomat from Kazakhstan who was found shot in the head at his home in Islamabad two days ago died on Friday and Pakistani police said he was killed apparently by robbers and that two people had been arrested. Sapargali Aubakirov, a counsellor at Kazakhstan’s embassy, was in a coma on a life support system at Islamabad’s Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences since Wednesday, after he was found critically wounded at his home. “He was declared dead this morning,” a senior police official said. “So far our investigations show the act was criminally motivated.
