China and Pakistan on Thursday expressed their resolve to further deepen the relations between the armed forces of the two countries and pledged to jointly fight terrorism and extremism. The two sides stated this after a meeting between Chinese Defence Minister, General Cao Gangchuan, with his visiting Pakistani counterpart, Rao Sikandar Iqbal, here. Cao said Sino-Pak friendship is deeply rooted and won popular support with a broad foundation. “The military ties play an important role in the bilateral relations.
