A leading Pakistani newspaper Friday published a US government advertisement, renewing reward for Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, Taliban chief Mullah Muhammad Omar and others, whom it called ‘most wanted people’, Xinhua reports. Bin Laden, carrying a $25 million reward, tops the list of 14 people, which also includes Ayman al-Zawahri, considered the advisor and doctor of Osama bin Laden, the advertisement in Daily Jang said. Omar has been put third in the list with $10 million. He has been accused of sheltering bin Laden’s Al Qaeda in Afghanistan for several years before the 9/11 attacks. The advertisement was issued by the US justice department. It gave telephone numbers – one in Islamabad and one in the US – as well as the e-mail address of the department. Full Story
