An alleged mastermind behind the plot to assassinate Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has escaped from police custody in Karachi and security agencies have launched a nationwide manhunt to nab him, a report said here. The suspect identified as Mushtaq Ahmad, a possible alias, gave the security agencies a slip around New Year’s Day in what is being termed as a security lapse, the report said quoting unidentified sources. Security authorities have circulated his three photographs with one showing him in a beard, another with a moustache and third a clean shaven one, Time magazine reported. Full Story
