Talks next month between President Bush and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder will focus on the fight against terrorism and the situation in Iraq, a German government spokesman said on Friday.Bush and Schroeder are due to meet in the German city of Mainz on Feb. 23, a day after the newly re-elected president meets NATO and European Union leaders in Brussels. “The German government and the chancellor are looking forward to the meeting,” spokesman Bela Anda told a government news conference. “The fight against international terrorism will be one theme, but also the situation in Iraq after the planned elections there.”Full Story
