In a rare display of solidarity, a Kashmiri pro-independence rebel group launched a day-long camp to donate blood for Indians injured in last week’s tsunami devastation. Ghulam Rasool Edi, a senior leader of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), was the first to donate a pint of blood, witnesses said. The camp was set-up under near the JKLF’s headquarters in the summer capital Srinagar. Members jostled for a place on one of the 10 beds set up under a tent. “The response to our call is tremendous.
