A Jordanian jailed on terror charges in Germany has had his name removed from a UN list of al-Qaeda suspects, after co-operating with the authorities. Shadi Abdellah, who said he had been Osama bin Laden’s bodyguard, was jailed for four years for plotting attacks on Jewish targets in Germany in 2003. But he was freed in November after prosecutors said he had provided valuable testimony about al-Qaeda. Full Story
