The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has re-established public availability of documents regarding the proposed LES and USEC Inc. uranium enrichment facilities and new reactors. The NRC suspended public access to major portions of its web site on Oct. 25 to conduct a security review and remove any documents that could reasonably be expected to aid a potential terrorist. Public access to the NRC’s on-line document library, ADAMS, was also suspended. The agency has been restoring access to appropriate documents, after reviewing them for security sensitivity. Full Story
