Malaysia has warned Australia not to “bulldoze” through a maritime anti-terror plan that has already been criticized by neighboring Indonesia as breaching international law and Jakarta’s sovereignty over its own waters. The Sydney Morning Herald newspaper reported on Monday that Malaysia’s Deputy Defence Minister, Zainal Abidin Zin, described the plan as “volatile.” “They cannot bulldoze a plan that does not honor the sovereignty of another country,” Abidin Zin said. “They cannot say, for the sake of security, they have the power to intercept ships.
