Indonesian police have found a grenade inside the compound of the Hilton hotel in Jakarta. Police said the device was found on Monday and had been taken away by the Indonesian bomb squad. “It’s about the size of a fist. It has been taken away,” said Jakarta police spokesman Tjiptono, according to a Reuters news agency report. The report comes just days after at least four foreign governments warned terrorists were planning attacks over the Christmas and New Year period. Australia’s warning was unusually specific, saying it had “credible information” that terrorists could be targeting the Hilton Hotel chain in Indonesia. Full Story
