Indonesian police find grenade inside Jakarta Hilton hotel

Indonesian police have found a grenade inside the compound of the Hilton hotel in Jakarta. Police said the device was found on Monday and had been taken away by the Indonesian bomb squad. “It’s about the size of a fist. It has been taken away,” said Jakarta police spokesman Tjiptono, according to a Reuters news agency report. The report comes just days after at least four foreign governments warned terrorists were planning attacks over the Christmas and New Year period.
