A portion of soup prepared for Indonesia’s vice president contained a tiny dose of arsenic, but the source of the poison could not be established, police said Friday.Laboratory tests showed 0.09 milligrams of arsenic was found in noodle soup prepared for Yusuf Kalla at a hotel in Bali on Wednesday, the resort island’s police spokesman A.S. Reniban told AFP. Kalla was in Bali to attend a congress of the country’s largest political party, Golkar. He is running for the party’s leadership.Reniban said further tests were needed to establish the source of the arsenic, which occurs naturally in many substances, but added that the amount in Kalla’s dish was too small to cause death.
