Two gunmen thought to be Albanians hijacked a Greek bus with 24 passengers on Wednesday and demanded a $1 million ransom and a plane to fly them to Russia. Nearly 12 hours after the early morning drama started, the hijackers had released 10 of their hostages in several batches throughout the day leaving 14 still captive. First police reports had said there were 26 hostages on board the bus when it was first seized at gunpoint but a police spokeswoman later said the correct figure was 24.Full Story
