French police have seized 350 kg (772 lb) of material that can be used to make explosives usually used by Basque separatist group ETA, local authorities and a Spanish police source said on Saturday. Police found a stash of sodium chlorate in a garage in the southwestern town of Limoges on Friday evening, a local authority spokesperson said. The owner of the garage had reported missed rent payments and police found the explosives when they went to investigate. A police source in Spain said French police had found potassium chlorate, a chemical used by the separatists, who have killed some 850 people in an almost four decade campaign for independence from Spain and France.Full Story
