Five explosions were reported at gas stations in the Madrid area on Friday night, following a phone warning in the name of the armed Basque separatist group ETA to a Basque newspaper. The bombs were small and authorities managed to evacuate the gas stations in time, a police spokesman said. One device exploded at a gas station near a highway packed with people leaving Madrid for a long holiday weekend. The blast caused long backups on the highway.Full Story
