The Inter-American Human Rights Court has upheld a terrorism conviction against an American, Lori Berenson, who is serving a 20 years prison term in Peru, President Alejandro Toledo revealed.Peru maintains that Berenson collaborated with the Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement (MRTA) in a plot to take over Congress and seize hostages to swap for jailed members of the leftist rebel force.
